V-Shares ETFs

V-Shares ETFs was a provider of volatility-weighted exchange-traded funds, originally launched by Compass Efficient Model Portfolios, LLC. The firm offered a suite of ETFs designed to provide a more stable return profile by weighting constituents based on their historical volatility. In November 2017, the investment management firm Victory Capital acquired the V-Shares ETF brand and its products. However, as part of a strategic business decision, Victory Capital announced in April 2019 the liquidation of all V-Shares ETFs, with the funds ceasing trading and being officially closed in May 2019.
