Originally founded as Sugar, the company focused on providing capital to creators and solo-entrepreneurs based on their future revenue streams. In late 2022, Sugar was acquired by Uncapped, a leading European provider of revenue-based financing. The combined entity, operating under the Uncapped brand, offers a broader range of non-dilutive funding solutions to e-commerce, SaaS, D2C, and other digital-first businesses. Their model allows companies to raise growth capital without giving up equity, offering funds in exchange for a flat fee which is repaid through a share of future revenues.
