POAP Inc. is the company behind the Proof of Attendance Protocol, a system that allows event organizers to distribute unique cryptographic badges (NFTs) to attendees. Originally created at the ETHDenver 2019 hackathon, POAP's mission is to create a "shared scrapbook of your life" by preserving memories on the blockchain. The platform provides the infrastructure for minting and distributing these digital collectibles, which serve as verifiable records of participation in events, both virtual and physical, fostering a new layer of community engagement and digital identity.
