Founded in 1991, Pacific Crest Securities was a prominent investment bank headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with a strong focus on the global technology sector. The firm was highly regarded for its in-depth equity research, M&A advisory services, and its ability to facilitate capital raising for technology companies. It served an institutional client base, including corporations and investment firms. In August 2016, the firm was acquired by KeyBanc Capital Markets, the corporate and investment banking arm of KeyCorp, to expand KeyBanc's capabilities and presence in the technology industry. Following the acquisition, the Pacific Crest Securities brand was retired, and its operations were fully integrated into KeyBanc.
