OB1

OB1 was founded with the mission to promote free and open online trade by creating decentralized software. The company's flagship project was OpenBazaar, a peer-to-peer e-commerce protocol that operated without middlemen, fees, or censorship, utilizing cryptocurrencies for transactions. Later, the company developed Haven, a private, mobile-first marketplace and social application. In late 2021, OB1 was acquired by the Electric Coin Company (ECC), and its team transitioned to work on developing a new Zcash wallet and other projects for the ECC ecosystem, effectively ending OB1's independent operations.
