Lafayette SPAC

Lafayette Acquisition Corp. was a blank check company, also known as a SPAC, incorporated for the purpose of entering into a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization, or similar business combination with one or more businesses. The company was sponsored by an affiliate of Lafayette Square Holding Company, LLC. It completed its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in March 2021, raising approximately $230 million. After failing to complete a business combination within the contractually mandated timeframe, the company announced in November 2022 that it would redeem all of its outstanding Class A ordinary shares and proceed with dissolution and liquidation.
