Founded in 2016, the Digital Lenders Association of India (DLAI) is the leading industry body for digital lending companies in the country. As a not-for-profit, self-regulatory organization, its primary mission is to foster a responsible and sustainable digital lending ecosystem. DLAI works closely with the government, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and other regulatory bodies to represent the interests of its members, promote ethical business practices through its Code of Conduct, and drive innovation in the fintech sector to advance financial inclusion.
