Founded in 2012 in Guadalajara, Billpocket is a financial technology company focused on democratizing digital payments for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and independent professionals in Mexico. The company offers a portable card reader that connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet, allowing businesses to accept all major credit and debit cards, including contactless payments and vouchers. Its mission is to provide an accessible, secure, and easy-to-use payment acceptance solution. In August 2022, Billpocket was acquired by Kushki, a Latin American payment technology unicorn, to strengthen its presence and service offerings in the region.
