Founded in 2016 by Sally Outlaw, Worthy Financial's mission is to help build a more financially-inclusive and community-focused economic system. The company achieves this by offering an alternative investment and financing platform. It allows individual investors to purchase "Worthy Bonds" for as little as $10, which offer a fixed interest rate. The capital raised from these bond sales is then pooled and lent to a diversified portfolio of American small businesses and other asset-backed investments, thereby providing them with much-needed financing.
