TinkerLink was a technology company that operated a mobile-first marketplace and professional network. Its mission was to create a "circle of trust" where users could find, hire, and recommend reliable experts for a wide range of services, from home repairs to professional consulting. The platform leveraged users' existing social and professional connections to provide trusted recommendations. Founded by Jorge Hemkes, the company launched initially in Mexico and expanded to other parts of Latin America and the United States. Despite gaining some traction, the company announced it was shutting down its application in October 2022.
