SMBC Nikko Securities is one of Japan's premier full-line securities companies and a core member of the Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG). Its history dates back to the early 20th century with the formation of Nikko Securities. The current entity was formed through the integration of the former Nikko Cordial Securities and SMBC Friend Securities.
