Mellon Capital

Founded in 1983, Mellon Capital Management Corporation was a prominent global multi-asset investment manager headquartered in San Francisco. The firm provided a wide range of investment strategies, including active equity, index, and multi-asset solutions to institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals worldwide. In 2018, its parent company, BNY Mellon, announced a significant restructuring, merging Mellon Capital with two other investment boutiques, Standish Mellon Asset Management and The Boston Company Asset Management. This integration formed a new, unified entity within BNY Mellon Investment Management, combining their respective capabilities to offer a broader range of solutions under the single BNY Mellon brand. While the Mellon Capital name is no longer actively used for the standalone entity, its legacy, strategies, and personnel are now part of the larger BNY Mellon Investment Management organization.
