Medley Capital

Medley Capital Corporation (formerly NYSE: MCC) was an externally managed, non-diversified closed-end investment company that elected to be treated as a business development company (BDC) under the Investment Company Act of 1940. Its primary business was to provide senior secured loans to middle-market companies across a variety of industries in the United States. The company was managed by MCC Advisors LLC, an affiliate of Medley Management Inc. In 2021, after a lengthy and complex process, Medley Capital Corporation merged with Sierra Income Corporation, another BDC managed by the same group. Following the merger, the combined entity was renamed Sierra Income Corporation.
