LAZ Al-Azhar

Established in 2004 by the Al-Azhar Islamic Foundation (Yayasan Pesantren Islam Al-Azhar), LAZ Al-Azhar is an officially recognized Zakat management institution in Indonesia, operating under the decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs. Its mission is to professionally manage charitable funds from the public (known as ZISWAF - Zakat, Infaq, Sedekah, and Waqf) and channel them into various empowerment programs. These programs focus on key areas such as education, health, economic development, and religious advocacy (dakwah) to improve the welfare of underprivileged communities across Indonesia.
