Originally established as the international trust and corporate services division of a private bank, First Names Group became an independent entity following a management buyout in 2012, backed by AnaCap Financial Partners. The company grew rapidly through strategic acquisitions, establishing itself as a major player in the fiduciary and administrative services sector. It provided services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporate clients, focusing on private wealth, corporate structuring, and fund administration. In 2018, the company was acquired by SGG Group, and in 2019, the entire consolidated group was rebranded and launched as IQ-EQ, which continues to provide these services globally.
