Finxera

Founded in 2008, Finxera developed a comprehensive financial services platform focused on providing embedded finance solutions. The company's core offering was an API that allowed other businesses to integrate banking services, such as creating and managing FBO (For Benefit Of) accounts, real-time payment processing (ACH, wire), and maintaining customer account ledgers. This enabled fintechs and other companies to offer financial products without becoming a bank themselves. In July 2021, Finxera was acquired by the European BaaS leader Solarisbank (now Solaris SE) to facilitate Solaris's expansion into the U.S. market. Finxera now operates as a subsidiary of Solaris and is the foundation of its U.S. operations.
