FES Credit Doctor

Financial Education Services (FES), which also operated as United Wealth Education, was a Michigan-based multi-level marketing (MLM) company founded in 2004. The company's primary offering, provided through its subsidiary United Credit Education Services (UCES), was a "Protection Plan" that included credit repair, identity theft protection, and other financial tools. FES recruited agents to sell these plans and to recruit more agents, promising significant income. In 2022, the FTC filed a lawsuit against FES, alleging that it was operating an illegal credit repair business and a pyramid scheme. In April 2023, the company and its owners agreed to a settlement that permanently banned them from the credit repair and MLM industries.
