Founded in 1935 by the late Mr. Edward B. Beharry, the company has grown from a small import and export business into one of Guyana's largest and most respected conglomerates, now known as the Beharry Group of Companies. Its core operations include the manufacturing and distribution of iconic local food products such as Indi spices and Champion chowmein. The group has diversified over the decades and now operates multiple divisions, including Beharry Automotive Limited, a financial services arm named Secure International Finance Inc., and extensive real estate holdings, maintaining its status as a prominent family-owned business in the region.
