Australian Financial Crimes Exchange

The Australian Financial Crimes Exchange (AFCX) is a joint venture established by Australia's four major banks (ANZ, CBA, NAB, and Westpac), with support from the Australian Government and AUSTRAC. Launched in 2022, its primary mission is to provide a secure, real-time platform for its members to share financial crime intelligence. By centralizing and facilitating the exchange of information, the AFCX aims to more effectively detect, prevent, and disrupt serious crimes such as money laundering, terrorism financing, and scams targeting Australians. It operates as a not-for-profit entity, focusing on bolstering the integrity of the Australian financial system.
