The Insurent Lease Guaranty Program, offered by Insurent Agency Corporation, serves as a third-party guarantor for residential leases. Its mission is to assist renters—including students, international individuals, self-employed persons, and those with insufficient credit or income—in qualifying for apartments by meeting landlords' financial requirements. In exchange for a fee, Insurent guarantees the tenant's lease obligations, primarily the payment of rent, thereby reducing risk for landlords and opening up housing opportunities for a wider range of applicants. The program is underwritten by Argonaut Insurance Company, a major U.S. property and casualty insurer.
