SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India)

The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) was established on April 2, 1990, through an Act of the Indian Parliament. It serves as the apex regulatory body for the licensing and regulation of micro, small, and medium enterprise finance companies in India. SIDBI's mission is to facilitate and strengthen credit flow to MSMEs and address both financial and developmental gaps in the MSME eco-system, acting as the principal institution for financing and developing this sector.
