Digicash Payments S.A. is a Luxembourgish payment institution that developed and operates the Digicash mobile payment application. Launched as a collaborative initiative by Luxembourg's leading retail banks, its mission was to create a unified, secure, and convenient mobile payment ecosystem for the country. The service allows users to link their existing bank accounts to the app to make QR code-based payments at points of sale, pay bills by scanning QR codes on invoices, and conduct online and in-app purchases. The company is now part of Payconiq International, expanding its reach and technological foundation within a broader European payments network.
