COVID-19 Actuaries Response Group

The COVID-19 Actuaries Response Group was a temporary, independent group established and supported by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA). Operating on a voluntary basis from March 2020 until its closure on 31 March 2023, its mission was to support the public interest and the actuarial profession by curating relevant information, producing analysis, and offering commentary on the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. The group's work focused on understanding the pandemic's implications for mortality, longevity, and the insurance industry.
