Circles powered by StepLadder is a trading name for StepLadder UK Ltd, a London-based fintech company founded to help individuals overcome the challenge of saving for a home deposit. The company's core service is a digital, modernized version of a Rotating Savings and Credit Association (ROSCA). Members join a 'Circle' and contribute a fixed amount of money each month. Every month, one member of the Circle is randomly selected to receive the entire collected pot as a tax-free lump sum to put towards their property deposit. This process repeats until every member has received their lump sum, enabling them to potentially buy a home sooner than if they were saving alone. The company is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
