Carter Federal Credit Union was originally chartered in 1954 to serve the employees of the International Paper Company’s mill. Over the years, it has expanded its field of membership and grown into a full-service financial institution. As a not-for-profit cooperative, its mission is to serve as the primary financial institution for its members by offering competitive rates on loans and savings, as well as a variety of other financial products and services, with a focus on member satisfaction and community involvement.
