Iqianbang, officially Beijing Iqianbang Wealth Technology Co., Ltd., was a Chinese financial technology company founded in 2014. It operated as a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform, connecting individual investors with borrowers seeking loans. The company's mission was to provide accessible and supposedly high-return investment products to the public. However, following the widespread P2P industry crisis and regulatory crackdown in China, Iqianbang faced a severe liquidity crisis and collapsed in 2018. The platform defaulted on payments to its investors, leading to a police investigation and its subsequent closure.
