Founded in 2014 in Estonia and later expanding to the UK, Investly aimed to solve cash flow challenges for SMEs by providing a fast and flexible alternative to traditional bank financing. The platform allowed businesses to upload unpaid invoices, which were then funded by a pool of private and institutional investors seeking returns from short-term, asset-backed securities. The company's mission was to build a more inclusive financial system by directly connecting businesses in need of working capital with investors. However, in early 2022, Investly announced it would no longer be accepting new businesses or investors in the UK and Estonia.
