Forex Bank

Founded in 1965, FOREX began by providing currency exchange services from a small office in the central station of Stockholm. It received its banking license in 2003 and operated as Forex Bank, offering basic banking services alongside its core currency exchange business. In May 2021, the company strategically wound down its banking operations, transferring its deposit and loan accounts to ICA Banken. Today, FOREX has returned to its roots, focusing exclusively on being the Nordic leader in travel currency and money transfers, operating a network of physical branches across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway.
