Forethought Financial

Originally established to provide preneed funeral insurance, Forethought Financial Group, Inc. expanded to become a significant player in the U.S. annuity and life insurance markets. The company focused on providing a range of retirement and end-of-life financial products, including fixed and indexed annuities. In 2014, Forethought was acquired by Global Atlantic Financial Group, a leading insurance company. Since the acquisition, the Forethought brand has been phased out, and its portfolio of products, operations, and policy servicing have been fully integrated into the Global Atlantic brand and infrastructure.
