Forethought Finance

Originally founded in 1985 as Hillenbrand Industries' financial services business, Forethought Financial Group, Inc. grew into a prominent US-based provider of retirement, life insurance, and funeral planning solutions. In 2014, the company was acquired by and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Global Atlantic Financial Group. While the independent company "Forethought" no longer exists, the Forethought brand name continues to be used for annuity and life insurance products issued and administered by Global Atlantic's subsidiary insurance companies, such as Forethought Life Insurance Company.
