Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Portland, Maine, Foreside Financial Group established itself as a leading provider of comprehensive solutions for the investment management industry. The company specialized in outsourced governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) services, broker-dealer and registered representative licensing, and fund distribution solutions. In May 2022, Foreside was acquired by Genstar Capital and merged with ACA Group (formerly ACA Compliance Group) to create a single, scaled GRC platform serving a global client base of financial services firms. The combined entity now operates under the ACA brand.
