Established in 2011 by the Republic of Serbia, the Innovation Fund's mission is to strengthen the link between science and the private sector and to foster the development of innovative entrepreneurship. It provides various forms of financial support, such as mini grants, matching grants, and innovation vouchers, to startups and established companies to develop their innovative products, services, and technologies. The Fund was initially supported by the European Union (EU) and the World Bank, and it continues to play a pivotal role in building Serbia's innovation ecosystem.
