Fog Cutter Capital Group

Fog Cutter Capital Group Inc. operated as a holding company with its principal business focused on managing its investment in the Fatburger restaurant franchise. Founded in 1997, the company's history is closely tied to its CEO, Andrew Wiederhorn, and the acquisition and development of the Fatburger brand. Over the years, Fog Cutter provided financing and strategic oversight to Fatburger. In a strategic corporate restructuring, its subsidiary, FAT (Fresh. Authentic. Tasty.) Brands Inc., went public in 2017 and subsequently acquired Fog Cutter Capital Group, its parent company. This transaction consolidated the entities, and Fog Cutter ceased to exist as an independent, publicly traded company, with its registration terminated in 2020.
