FINOS, the Fintech Open Source Foundation, is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization and an independent community under the governance of The Linux Foundation. Its mission is to foster the adoption of open source software, open standards, and collaborative development practices within the financial services sector. By providing a neutral and trusted forum, FINOS enables financial institutions, technology vendors, and individual developers to work together on solving common industry challenges, thereby accelerating innovation, reducing costs, and increasing technological resiliency across the ecosystem.
