FinansCERT Norge AS serves as the sector-specific response environment for ICT security within the Norwegian financial industry. Established in 2012 by the financial sector in cooperation with Norwegian authorities, its primary mission is to enhance the digital resilience of its member institutions. The organization achieves this by providing continuous monitoring, threat intelligence sharing, incident handling, and expert analysis related to cyber threats. It acts as a central coordination hub, enabling collaboration between financial institutions to collectively defend against and respond to sophisticated cyberattacks.
