Everlend was a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol developed on the Solana network, designed to provide money market services like lending and borrowing. Its mission was to offer a flexible and efficient platform for users to earn interest on their crypto assets or take out loans against them. However, in February 2023, the team announced the difficult decision to shut down the project, citing a lack of market fit and significant liquidity challenges within the Solana ecosystem following the collapse of FTX, which made it unfeasible to continue operations. The platform was placed in a permanent withdrawal-only mode to allow users to retrieve their funds.
