Direct Match

Founded by Jim Greco and launched in 2015, Direct Match LLC was a financial technology company that operated an electronic trading venue for U.S. Treasury securities. The platform was designed as an "all-to-all" marketplace, aiming to connect a diverse set of market participants directly and improve liquidity and efficiency in the Treasury market. As a FINRA-registered broker-dealer, it sought to disrupt the traditional dealer-dominated structure. In May 2017, the company was acquired by Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). Following the acquisition, the Direct Match platform and its independent operations were shut down and integrated into ICE's existing fixed income services.
