NeighborWorks of Orange County, legally known as Neighborhood Housing Services of Orange County (NHSOC), is a non-profit, HUD-approved housing counseling agency founded in 1977. Its mission is to strengthen communities and create affordable housing opportunities for underserved populations in Orange County, California. The organization achieves this by providing a range of services including homebuyer education, financial coaching, foreclosure prevention, and down payment assistance programs to help low-to-moderate-income individuals and families achieve and sustain homeownership.
