Founded in 2000, Cypress Benefit Administrators was a leading independent third-party administrator (TPA) that provided customized health benefit plan administration and claims processing for self-funded employers across the United States. The company was known for its focus on cost containment strategies, data transparency, and personalized customer service. In December 2017, Cypress was acquired by Lucent Health, a provider of data-driven healthcare risk management and self-funded health plans. Following the acquisition, Cypress was integrated into the Lucent Health brand and its operations and services now continue under the Lucent Health name.
