Cryptokart launched in 2018 as a cryptocurrency exchange based in India. The platform was designed to provide a simple and secure environment for Indian users to buy, sell, and trade digital assets like Bitcoin and other altcoins. Its primary offering was a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace, which allowed users to trade directly with one another. The company ceased operations following the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) circular in April 2018, which prohibited regulated financial institutions from providing services to crypto-related businesses, leading to the shutdown of many Indian crypto exchanges.
