Cringle

Cringle GmbH was a German FinTech company founded in 2014, known for its peer-to-peer (P2P) mobile payment application that allowed users in Germany and Austria to send and receive money using only a phone number. The service aimed to simplify money transfers between friends and family. In 2021, Cringle was acquired by the Swiss software company Netcetera. Following the acquisition, Cringle discontinued its direct-to-consumer app and its team and technology were integrated into Netcetera to enhance their digital payment and secure transaction offerings for banking and business clients.
