Founded in 2015, CressCap Investment Research developed a systematic, quantitative methodology to evaluate over 40,000 global stocks daily. The company's platform combined fundamental and quantitative analysis to produce unbiased, data-driven investment grades (A-F) on factors such as growth, value, profitability, and momentum. Its mission was to provide institutional investors, financial advisors, and individual investors with sophisticated yet easy-to-understand tools for stock selection and portfolio analysis. In May 2019, CressCap was acquired by FactSet, a global provider of integrated financial information and analytical applications, to integrate its research capabilities into the FactSet platform.
