Credit Kudos

Founded in 2015, Credit Kudos was a challenger credit bureau that aimed to revolutionize traditional credit scoring. By leveraging Open Banking, the company analyzed an individual's financial transaction data directly from their bank accounts (with their consent) to create a more holistic and real-time view of their financial health. This service was provided to lenders to help them make more informed and responsible lending decisions, particularly for individuals with limited or no traditional credit history. In March 2022, Credit Kudos was acquired by Apple Inc., and its consumer-facing operations and website were subsequently wound down and integrated into Apple's services.
