Chaintip

Chaintip was a popular on-chain tipping bot for Reddit, Twitter, and Github that facilitated micropayments using Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Its mission was to promote the adoption and use of cryptocurrency for small, everyday transactions and to reward content creators directly. The service operated by allowing users to summon the bot in a comment or reply, which would then process a transaction from the tipper's wallet to the recipient's. The project officially retired its service on October 31, 2022.
