Founded in 1972, the Bundesverband Deutscher Leasing-Unternehmen e.V. (BDL) serves as the primary interest group for the leasing sector in Germany. It represents over 150 member companies, which collectively account for approximately 90% of the German leasing market volume. The BDL's mission is to represent the industry's interests towards policymakers, the public, and the media, while also providing comprehensive services, data, and support to its member companies to promote a favorable economic and legal environment for leasing.
