Bryn Mawr Trust

Founded in 1889, Bryn Mawr Trust (BMT) established itself as a premier community bank and wealth management firm serving the Greater Philadelphia region. The company offered a comprehensive suite of financial services, including retail and commercial banking, lending, trust administration, investment management, and insurance solutions. With a mission focused on building long-term relationships and serving its local communities, BMT grew to become a significant financial institution in its market. In 2021, WSFS Financial Corporation announced its acquisition of BMT's parent company, Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation, a merger that was completed on January 1, 2022. Subsequently, The Bryn Mawr Trust Company was merged into WSFS Bank, and its branches were rebranded under the WSFS Bank name.
