Barksdale Federal Credit Union

Founded in 1954 on Barksdale Air Force Base, Barksdale Federal Credit Union (BFCU) is a member-owned financial institution. As a not-for-profit cooperative, its mission is to enhance the financial well-being of its members by returning profits in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings dividends, and fewer fees. BFCU provides a full suite of financial products, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services, to its members who meet the eligibility criteria, primarily based on geography in Louisiana and affiliations with specific employers or organizations.
