Allianz Russia

Formerly a key player in the Russian insurance market, Allianz Russia operated as part of the German-based Allianz Group, one of the world's largest insurers and asset managers. The company provided a wide array of insurance solutions for both corporate and private clients, including property, liability, auto, life, and health insurance. Following global geopolitical events in 2022, Allianz Group made the decision to scale down its operations in Russia and subsequently sold its controlling stake to Interholding LLC, the owner of the Russian insurer Zetta Insurance. The transaction was finalized in 2023, and the former Allianz Russia portfolio and operations were rebranded and merged into the Zetta Insurance brand.
