Founded in 1990, Alliant Partners established itself as a premier investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private financing advisory for technology, software, and internet companies. The firm was known for its deep industry expertise and execution capabilities in the middle market. In 2007, Alliant Partners was acquired by Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and became its dedicated M&A advisory group. This entity has since evolved and now operates as SVB Securities LLC, the investment banking division of SVB, a division of First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company, continuing to provide M&A advisory, capital raising, and other investment banking services.
