Aerlig, which is the Danish word for "honest," was founded to help small- and medium-sized businesses with their most critical moments. Aerlig believes that while most small- and medium-sized business owners excel at running their businesses on a day-to-day basis, they often have limited experience within the relatively arcane fields of buying, selling, and financing private companies. A tremendous amout of value can be created (or lost) when business owners properly (or improperly) navigate their companies through these critical moments. Aerlig is actively creating a network of current and former business owners and private equity professionals who have successfully navigated their own companies through critical moments multiple times, and making these uniquely qualified consultants available to business owners facing big opportunties. Today, Aerlig is based in Denver, Colorado, but provides services to companies throughout the United States.
